Rolf Stommelen D
		Rolf Stommelen gold als een enorm talent. Eind 60-er jaren reed hij al fabrieks Porsches op Le Mans, daarna stoomde hij door naar de Formule 1 waar hij echter nooit grote successen boekte. In 1975 crashte hij zwaar in Montjuich (Barcelona). Daarna legde hij zich voornamelijk toe op GT-races. Zo werd hij o.a. DRM kampioen in 1977, won hij Daytona en de 1000km op de Nürburgring. Hij verongelukte dodelijk tijdens een IMSA race in Riverside in 1983. German Rolf Stommelen was a great talent. He was one of the first to drive the Porsche 917 factory cars. After that he drove Formula 1, but crashed heavily in Barcelona 1975. After that he drove lot of GT races, winning DRM, Daytona and 1000 km Nürburgring races. He died in a racing accident at Riverside in an IMSA race in 1983.	July 11 juli 1943 - April 24 april 1983
