		Porsche Salzburg was eigendom van de familie Piëch, aangetrouwde familie van Ferdinand Porsche. Behalve distributeur van Porsche voor Oostenrijk was het in 1969 en 1970 ook één van de semi-fabrieks teams die altijd de beschikking hadden over het nieuwste materiaal. Porsche Salzburg was owned by the Piëch family, related to Ferdinand Porsche. Not only was Porsche Salzburg distributor for Austria but also one of the preferred racing teams from the factory.
