GBRichard Lloyd started racing Golf GTI's, that is where the teams first name came from: GTI Engineering. RLR built his own versions of the gamous Porsche 962. After that Lloyd started Audi UK and took victories in the BTCC and raced Le Mans. He also took care of the succesful Bentleys. Lloyd died in a plan crash in 2008 together with ons of his drivers David Leslie.
