		Rene Arnoux heeft een succesvolle Formule 1 carriere achter de rug. Na zijn actieve loopbaan startte hij samen met Jean-Paul Driot het team Dams (Driot Arnoux Motor Sport). Het team is erg succesvol in Formule 3000 en vergelijkbare klassen, maar reed ook op Le Mans. De stad waar het team gevestigd is. Rene Arnoux had a succesful career as a Formula 1 driver. After that he started Dams Racing, together with Jean-Paul Driot. The team won many titles in Formula 3000 and other competitions, but also drove at Le Mans. The homebase of the team is in that same French town.
