		Toyota doet soms enkele jaren achtereen mee op Le Mans, maar tot op heden zonder grote successen. Diverse twee plaatsen in het algemeen klassement is het maximale wat het merk heeft behaald. De Supra's behoorden tot de gevestigde orde van het Japans GT Kampioenschap en zijn nu vervangen door de machtige V8 lexus. Toyota tried to win Le Mans several times and they got close in 1992, 1994, 1998 and 1999 but never did. They turned to Formula 1 now, but were also active in the Japanese GT Championship with the old Supra turbo. Now they use the V8 Lexus.
