2002 24 uur / hours Le Mans
		Net als in de twee voorgaande jaren domineerden de Joest Audi R8R's. Ook de tweede achtereenvolgende poging van zustermerk Bentley kon het Duitse feestje niet verstoren. Just as in the two previous years the Joest Audi's dominated at Le Mans. The second attempt from sister brand Bentley could not prevent the German party.

2002 American Le Mans Series
		De Audi R8R's reden niert alleen op Le Mans, maar ook de hele American Le Mans Series. Daar moesten ze zich de verrassend snelle Panoz van het lijf houden. Daarachter floreerden de GT klassen met talloze Porsches, Corvettes en Ferrari's. The Audi's were also present in the American Le Mans Series where they had to battle the surprinsingly fast Panoz'. Behind them the GT classes florishes with lots of Porsche, Corvette and Ferrari.

2002 24 uur / hours Daytona
		2002 Was het laatste jaar dat de reglementen van de American Le Mans Series en de Grand Am relatief dicht bij elkaar lagen. We zagen op Daytona dan ook veel bekende auto's uit LMP675 en LMP900, maar dan voorzien van de kenmerkende grote roll-over bar. De Lista Dallara was een verrassende winnaar. 2002 Was the last year that the rules of ALMS and Grand Am were so close. We saw a lot of familiair ALMS cars drive in Daytona. The Dallara was a surprise winner.
