History	Porsche domineerde het volledige wereldkampioenschap sportscars met de 956. Op de circuits waar grotere downforce noodzakelijk is, werd gereden met de Kurzheck variant. De Rothmans Porsche 956 met Jacky Ickx en Jochen Mass won de 1000km race op Spa-Francorchamps voor hun grootste concurrenten in het kampioenschap: de andere Rothmans Porsche met Derek Bell en Stefan Bellof. Porsche dominated the Worldchampionship. On tracks which needed more downforce, the 956 used the kurzheck or shorttail version such as this one that won the 1000km race at Spa.

Make	Quartzo was een onderdeel van het oude Vitesse concern. Het merk produceerde leuke modellen van groep 5 en groep C racers lang voordat Minichamps of Spark zich hieraan waagde. Quartzo was one of the brands of the Vitesse group. The brand produced fine models of group 5 and group C racers, long before Minichmaps or Spark this did.
