1975 24 uur / hours Le Mans
		Het verbruiksreglement van 1975 beperkte de fabrikanten teveel: Matra was gestopt na drie opeenvolgende overwinningen en Porsche en Renault zouden pas in 1976 meedoen met hun nieuwe turbo-motoren. John Wyer profiteerde en haalde de winst met de Mirages die hem met de Porsche 917's niet gelukt was. The fuel restrictions from 1975 made that the big factories did not compete this year. Matra already won three times in a row, Porsche and Renault would bring their new turbocharged cars to Le Mans in 1976. John Wyer took profit with his Mirages and scored the win he never managed with the Porsche 917's.

1975 1000 km Nürburgring
		De 1000 kilometer race in de 'groene hel' zag een prachtig gevecht tussen Renault-Alpine, Alfa Romeo en de Mirages van Georg Loos. Daarachter streden de Porsches om de winst in de GT klasse. The 1000 kilometer race in the 'green hell' was a great battle between Renault-Alpine, Alfa Romeo and the Mirages from team Loos. Behind that, the Porsceh RSR battled for the win in GT.

1975		Wereldkampioenschap / World championship Het wereldkampioenschap sportscars werd gewonnen door Alfa Romeo. Renault experimenteerde met de nieuwe Alpine turbo en was nog niet betrouwbaar en de oude Porsche 908's waren, ondanks de nieuwe motoren niet snel genoeg meer. The world championship was won by Alfa Romeo. The new turbo charged Alpines were not yet reliable and the old Porsche 908's were not fast enough anymore, despite using new turbo engines.

1975 touring / GT: DRM & IMSA
		In het Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft (DRM) streden de Porsche RSR GT's tegen de ex-fabrieks toerwagens van BMW en Ford. Een soortgelijk beeld zagen we ook in het Amerikaanse TransAm kampioenschap. In the German Championship (DRM) the Porsche RSR GT's battled the former works touringcars from BMW and Ford. The TransAm championship in the USA showed similar.
